Someone recently posted a DIY concrete birdbath on my fb wall, so Jeff and I decided to try it before our elephant ear leaves shrivel away. It's a super easy project, you just need to have all your supplies ready ahead of time. All told, I think it took us less than an hour.
Probably on Wednesday, they will be cured enough to pick out the leaf and see how they look.
This is where I plan on putting the big bird bath. It's a big sandy area where the sparrows love to splash in the dirt. But ivy has taken to digging there and it just gets bigger and bigger. So I filled it with gravel and put some bigger polished rocks on top. I just want to lay the bath right on top and let the birds play there.
you can find the DIY tutorial here.
Nice! Can't wait to see pics of those big leaves and birds bathing
