Spring Cleaning - keep those animal shelters in mind

I've been meaning to mention this for awhile - when you do your spring cleaning (or whenever!) and you are getting rid of extra blankets, towels, pillow cases, sheets, comforters, bath rugs, etc. put them in a bag and donate them to your local animal shelter. they use them in the cages for the animals to lay on! i do this twice yearly and love knowing my old linens are being put to such good use!

  1. Good one kecia. It is a great idea to remind people about dropping things off at an Animal Shelter.

  2. What a cute little pup he/she is! That's a great idea for linens...I had never thought of that. Since my hubby won't let me take in any more (we have 5 ~ 2 cats/3 dogs) rescues, this would be another way to help!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope to meet at ArtFest!

  4. Great idea... I'll have to remember this when I am cleaning out the linen closet again. Right now I have TON of stuff to go to the shelter thrift store, but they're 'closed' while the shelter is being renovated/expanded. My dining room is a mess!
