My name is kecia deveney and this is Lemoncholy's Studio. Located in beautiful New Jersey (the garden state), I am about 7 minutes from the Jersey shore (Wall Township). I have lived here for 15 years and have spent that time creating an environment that is tranquil, quiet, relaxing and peaceful. It's a bit artsy, bohemian and gypsy-ish at the same time. Over time I have begun teaching in my studio and then inviting guest artists. what a time we had at the zombie walk! it started off fairly warm down at the beach, but that didn't last long as the wind start kicking up and the sun went down. This year, we attempted to break the Guinness Book of World Records (the record is held by Seattle) and we needed over 4,000 zombies to win. we haven't heard the final tally yet; but i bet we beat it.these are some of my favorite images from yesterday. the rest of them you can go see here:
here's me dressed as "Scrailyn Monroe". i only had a few minutes to be beautiful before i was zombified and dosed in sticky (fake) blood.
this girls mouth was grossing me out with the fresh (fake) blood on her teeth. then she leans over and says to me, "i love your purse!" Goes to show you, even zombies still have taste!
these two were great! i told him, "darling, i'm not doing any interviews right now!" (love how he is still trying to interview me as the other zombie wants to attack!)
